OUR STORY
Gourmet to Go is a catering company established in 2002. Our core business is catering services to corporates, tertiary institutions, and various government departments. Décor and other related services may be provided on request. We provide all meal types and cater for all dietary requirements servicing areas in and around our location and the whole of western cape. We aim to stand out from competitors by being able to deliver at short notice, being always punctual and preparing fresh, appetizing, and flavourful food at all times. Our well-trained team always appear presentable with branded attire and ready for service. Our staff is always motivated and inspired by management and committed to keep our clients happy, coming back for more.

ABOUT US
We provide various meal types and cater for dietary requirements including all categories of vegetarian meals, gluten free, diabetics, and we are fully Halaal certified. We service areas in and around our location and the whole of Western Cape. Be it a basic corporate event or a prestigious wedding, our formula for success remains our passion for food and the people we are honoured to serve. Our team is able to deliver a service and prepare food that are second to none. We endeavour to remain constant with the current food trends, thus enabling us to always introduce something fresh and new to our menu. Décor and related services are provided as well.

MEET THE CHEF
Gourmet to Go is the brainchild of Peter Gie, who is the Director as well the personal Project Coordinator for every job that is well prepared with his personal stamp of approval. He started the company with humbled beginnings selling muffins to the staff of different companies in industrial areas. Many of those companies remained his clients up to this day. He developed a passion for cooking, got qualified as a chef and quickly build up a reputation of excellence with his clients. Peter Gie have more than 22 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, personally servicing & preparing foods to captivate and enhance the venues and causing guests to be well pleased.
